“ I've eaten at plenty of Chinese restaurants and was never all that impressed, BUT THIS PLACE IS DIFFERENT! This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! Seriously these dishes have fresh ingredients, big portions, and lots of flavor. Veggies don't feel slimy or overcooked, meats don't feel dry, it's all made with love. I've gotten takeout from here a good 6 times and have never been disappointed. I love the boneless spare ribs, vegetable delight, lo mein, and fried rice. The people here are great. Please support this restaurant! ”
“ I travel a lot for work and always try to find a Chinese restaurant that has Singapore Mei Fun aka Singapore Rice Noodles. China Ocean had them so I decided to try. I called in my order and they were ready within 10 minutes. They were delicious. So much so, that I went back two more times. I have eaten there three times in five nights. The food is great. ”
“ I have never had better Chinese food in my life, and I have had Chinese food in multiple countries (Ireland). First off the service is unmatched; No matter how much you order from here it only takes 15 minutes to be ready for pickup. Secondly, I believe you can truly taste the love and passion that goes in to this food. I could literally taste the blood, sweat, and tears that the fine folks at China Ocean pour into their culinary creations. I have never fully understood what they are saying to me over the phone but it's the first time I feel like I've been listened to in years. My wife has legitimately never been satisfied other than eating the food from China Ocean. If I could buy stock in this restaurant I would. ”

Chinese food would probably be our last option in Peterburg, Illinois but apparently the 3 other restaurants in town were already closed. We ordered shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, crab rangoon, sesame chicken, and chicken lo mein. From the time I called to place an order, it took 15 minutes for our food to be ready for pick up. The food was way better than we expected. The kids devoured the chicken and lo mein, while my husband and I enjoyed the egg foo young with rice. We'll definitely be back if and when we find ourselves in Petersburg again! ”
“ The food here would standout in any location. I was visiting family in Petersburg this last November 2018, when it was suggested we to go to the Chinese Restaurant there. Well, I figured it would be run of the mill strip-mall food. Sort of warmed over canned Asian food. I eat Asian food a lot, and this is good stuff, fresh full of flavor better than most similar Chinese places. If you are in or near Petersburg Il, you should eat here. The price is fantastic, the food all tastes wonderful. The Kitchen is very clean and had those great looking woks. I have the same thoughts about nearly every restaurant like this. Please provide better plastic-ware. Although I can use chopsticks, many people don't. Better utensils would make eating more enjoyable. I know most of the food here is taken out and eaten at home. I was disappointed that there was no Green or Olong tea. I thought that would be nice and Petersburg might try those. In-spite of those thoughts, I'd love to have the food again, too bad I had to come back home. ”
“ Pleasantly surprised for my first visit to this recently opened Chinese Restaurant. Small dining area. Take out was busy. I like the orange flavored chicken house specialty. It was not as spicy as I thought it would be and had a lot of orange zest. The chicken was crispy unlike some places that serve up soggy nuggets. I would go back. ”
